All the man dem around (of a certain age) started out with a Nokia phone. Nokia was the true players phone, the first phone to bring camera's on a phones, colour screens and Bluetooth. Android was some alien term and Apple was just a fruit. ---
The battery lasted for days on one charge and if you dropped it you didn't feel like you had just dropped a delicate new born baby! They were tough fuckers.
Oh how things have changed, these days Nokia phones are for people who don't care what phone they have or can't afford the top brands (Samsung Galaxy and iPhones), who went down the full touch screen route much earlier than Nokia.
Even though I have long stopped using Nokia phones (like most of the world now) it saddens me to hear that Microsoft have totally bought out Nokia [source]
